Overview of Our Research
Our research focuses on all aspects of piezoelectrics, ferroelectrics and electrocalorics such as; compositional modification, powder synthesis, ceramic processing, microstructural engineering, structural & electrical characterization, device design & development, device characterization.

From materials perspective, our approach is:
synthesizing fine & equax or anisometric ceramic powders using various methods such as solid-state rxn, molten salt synthesis, sol-gel, hydrothermal synthesis
modifying the composition through dopants and discussing the properties in the light of defect chemistry
engineering the microstructure through texture development to access anisotropic properties
